WHAT MAKES DOROTHY B & CO. PRODUCTS DIFFERENT?

Since our Etsy shop days, we've prided ourselves on making high-quality products that are easy on the environment and your wallet. Taking scents inspired by personal memories, our team develops these into home goods that elevate your everyday. The result is luxury fragrance you can feel good about.

WHAT INGREDIENTS DO YOU USE?

All of our ingredients are thoughtfully sourced to create safe, sustainable products that are vegan, cruelty-free, and phthalate-free. Dorothy B & Co. uses a combination of natural, essential and synthetic fragrance oils. This allows our fragrances to be very complex and diverse and gives us a wide range of raw materials to choose from when creating new and exciting fragrances.

ARE YOUR CANDLES ORGANIC?

Regardless of what some manufacturers may claim, no candle can actually be certified organic. (The solvents used in the hydrogenation process of any natural wax make that physically impossible). We do however, go the extra mile and have 100% natural soy wax produced by U.S farmers, all natural fragrance oils, non-treated lead-free cotton wicks, and no dyes!

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS GLUTEN-FREE?

Yes, materials used in the manufacturing of our candles are gluten-free. Please don't eat our candles.

DOES DOROTHY B & CO. TEST ON ANIMALS?

No, all of our products are vegan and cruelty-free. We do not test our products or ingredients on animals.

IS SHIPPING FREE?

Shipping is free when you order $50 or more and ship within the 48 contiguous states. If you live outside the contiguous U.S., we offer affordable shipping rates via USPS, which are automatically calculated during checkout.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?

We begin processing your order as soon as we receive it. Processing takes 1-2 business days (orders placed after 12PM ET are processed the next business day). Orders typically deliver within 3-5 business days from when we process your order. You’ll get a shipment notification email with a tracking number as soon as your package ships. Please note, once a package is picked up and scanned in by our carrier, the shipping and delivery status is no longer within our control. We are not responsible for shipping addresses that were incorrectly entered at checkout.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

We currently offer shipping methods to North American countries (U.S, Canada, Mexico) in our online shop. However, we can create an order for other countries and manually input shipping costs. To order internationally, please send your potential order and shipping address to hello@dorothybco.com or contact us here.

DO YOU OFFER EXPEDITED SHIPPING?

We usually need 1-2 business days to process orders. If you place your order Monday night, we will ship either on Tuesday or Wednesday. Please make a note if you absolutely need us to ship the next business day and we’ll do our best to rush your order. You must choose overnight shipping at checkout in order to get your candles in time. Wholesale orders can’t usually be rushed as more production is involved. We need at least 2-10 business days to complete a wholesale order.

WHAT’S YOUR RETURN POLICY?

If you aren’t happy with your purchase, please reach out to our Customer Care team at hello@dorothybco.com and we’ll help get the process started. As a growing small business, we aren’t currently able to cover shipping costs, but are always happy to ship exchanges at no extra charge. Exchanges or returns must be made within 30 days of delivery and require proof of purchase (e.g. your Dorothy B & Co. order number or order confirmation email). Refunds cover the cost of the item returned and do not include shipping fees. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards and third party products.

CAN I CHANGE/CANCEL MY ORDER?

Any order can be changed or canceled, so long as it hasn’t left our warehouse. If you haven’t received your shipment confirmation email and would like to change or cancel your order, please reach out to our team at hello@dorothybco.com.

MY ORDER WAS DAMAGED WHAT DO I DO?

If you received a damaged or defective Dorothy B & Co. candle, please send a photo to hello@dorothybco.com for our Quality Assurance team, and we will ship you a replacement right away.

DO YOU OFFER WHOLESALE PRICING?
